Alternativetna makes every effort, when possible, to fulfil every tour as described on our site and as agreed upon with the customer, but itineraries could change due to unforeseen circumstances or particular weather conditions.

Information about the driver:

Our expert driver has a deep knowledge of the territory and will make your excursion pleasurable. He knows the main points of interest of our splendid island.

 At each stop he will allot the necessary time to fulfil your needs, when possible, and will insure that your visit to Sicily will be unforgettable. Remember that the driver is not an authorized tour guide. The tour guides are the only professionals with a regional license that have permission to guide visits and tours to all places and museums within cities.

Programme for cruisers:

We will adapt this excursion based on the programme of the cruise ship. Our drivers are holding a card with your name written on it.
Pick up time will be 30 minutes after the ship docks at the port.
Drop off time will be one hour before leaving the port.

Change of itinerary:

In case of adverse weather conditions, if the ship cannot dock at the planned port and the captain should decide to dock at Messina or Catania, the service will be delivered all the same, if we receive a 12 hour notice and an extra fee of € 50. If we are notified within less than 12 hours, the service will be cancelled and we will reimburse the fee.

As regards the visit to Castelmola and Taormina, the visit is on foot because local laws prohibit the passing of motor vehicles.
